January 9, 2026 It has been great to come together again as class, to share stories of our breaks, and settle back into routines this week. We worked on completing many of our projects from before the break, including our Northern Alphabet creative writing project and the accompanying art piece. We finished the art this morning and they are beautiful. Learning Intentions: Grade 3: I can use cursive handwriting to write some texts with appropriate letter formation, size, proportion, and slant. Grade 4: I can use cursive handwriting to write some texts with appropriate letter formation, size, proportion, and slant. We briefly began exploring cursive writing during morning work time, and will continue next week. This gives a different creative opportunity to share ideas and express ourselves. We are making our way through Chasing Vermeer and things are getting very interesting as we try to solve the mystery within. We had time to explore some challenges with our pentomino set...
